My name is Manuel Justino Ernesto, and I am a mathematics teacher and an agribusiness entrepreneur from Mozambique. Alongside my teaching career, I have dedicated myself to developing sustainable poultry farming as a way of creating employment, improving food security, and increasing rural incomes. I am the founder of Malú Avicultura, an agricultural enterprise that combines poultry production with crop farming. My vision is to build an integrated farming system where poultry, maize, soybeans, and horticultural crops support each other, reducing production costs while increasing efficiency and sustainability. My journey in poultry farming has been driven by continuous learning and practical experience. I completed professional training in poultry production, which strengthened my knowledge of broiler production, breeder management, hatchery operations, poultry nutrition, biosecurity, disease prevention, vaccination programs, and farm management. Over the years, I have gained valuable experience in raising broilers, producing table eggs, managing breeder flocks, and planning the production of day-old chicks. Thank you.
