I am an agricultural consultant, entrepreneur, and educator with a background in horticulture, livestock production, and agribusiness. Through my work as the Managing Director of SMARTFARM SOLUTIONS LTD and the Founder of Egera Umuhinzi Initiative, I have worked with farmers, youth, and agricultural organizations to promote sustainable and profitable farming practices. My passion for agriculture comes from seeing its power to transform livelihoods, create employment, and strengthen food security. Over the years, I have combined practical farming experience with agricultural extension, training, and digital content creation to make technical knowledge accessible to farmers and young professionals. As a mentor, I aim to help mentees bridge the gap between theory and practice. I will support them in developing technical agricultural skills, identifying opportunities in agribusiness, solving real farming challenges, and building confidence to turn ideas into sustainable ventures. I also believe in continuous learning, innovation, and the importance of networking and collaboration within the agricultural sector. My goal is to empower mentees with practical knowledge, critical thinking, and the mindset needed to become competent agricultural professionals and leaders who create lasting impact in their communities.
