About This Opportunity
The AU-EU Youth Action Lab Grants 2026 support youth-led initiatives in selected African countries to develop innovative solutions to global challenges and strengthen opportunities for young people.
The final call offers two grant categories: Innovation Grants for youth-led initiatives developing, testing or scaling innovations linked to global challenges, and Entrepreneurship Grants supporting initiatives that create stronger economic opportunities and enabling environments for young entrepreneurs.
Selected initiatives will receive financial support, organisational capacity strengthening, opportunities to connect and collaborate with other youth initiatives, and participation in a wider Africa-Europe youth network. Supported initiatives will be implemented over a 12-month period from January to December 2027.
Applicants may apply to only one of the two grant categories.
The official Youth Action Lab website confirms the deadline is 23 September 2026 at 13:00 CAT, and you can apply for only one of the two grant types: Innovation (€42,000) or Entrepreneurship (€31,500).

- Youth-led initiative or organisation
- Must be located and registered in an eligible country
- Proposed activities must take place in one or more eligible countries
- Must apply to only one of the two grant categories
- Proposal must align with the objectives of the selected grant category
- Applicants must meet the eligibility requirements specified in the relevant grant guidelines
