The WECF Gender Just Climate Solutions Awards 2026 recognize innovative projects that advance climate action while promoting gender equality and women's rights. Organized by the Women and Gender Constituency (WGC) and Women Engage for a Common Future (WECF), with support from the Climate Technology Centre and Network (CTCN) and the European Union, the awards celebrate impactful initiatives from the Global South.

The awards seek projects that demonstrate practical, inclusive, and scalable climate solutions across sectors such as agriculture, food systems, renewable energy, water, digital innovation, and waste management.

The competition features three award categories:

• Technical Climate Solutions – Gender-responsive innovations in areas such as agriculture, food production, renewable energy, water, digital technologies, and waste reduction.
• Non-Technical Climate Solutions – Initiatives promoting behavioural change, knowledge sharing, education, and capacity building.
• Transformative Climate Initiatives – Projects driving institutional, governance, or social change that advance gender equality.

This opportunity is particularly relevant to organizations and initiatives working on climate-smart agriculture, sustainable agrifood systems, women's economic empowerment, environmental sustainability, and inclusive innovation.
